As part of the CCA's Drumchapel Out Reach Programme, I have been working as an Artist in Residence with Drummore Primary School, creating a Sensory Garden within the school grounds. I work alongside the class and Allan Thomson, the resident gardener to create the sensory patch. Each week the children take part in visual and interactive workshops to discover more about each of the five senses, learning everything from food recognition to the therapeutic properties of herbs.
