'Egg boat', Image from still life series, commission work for Cail Bruich
Created after the degree show, my interest in re-developing the 'still life', lead to a series of 9 images specially produced for the opening of the traditional Scottish 'Cail Bruich'.


'On the wall are photos of old Glasgow, paintings of classical brasserie scenes and pictures of food stuffs such as chillies, apples and eggs, taken from unusual close up angles that almost make those everyday ingredients seem like abstracts. It isn't avant garde, showy or flash, but it is what it should be, comfortable.'
